  • The HTFC-I Type Forward Curved Cabinet Centrifugal Fan is a high-efficiency, low-noise box-type centrifugal fan. It comprises a low-noise forward curved multi-blade centrifugal fan, a motor, bearings, drive components, a soundproof housing, etc. With 12 different inlet and outlet angles available, it meets various installation requirements.

Product Description

Product Overview

  • It comes in two types, A and B, to satisfy different fire-fighting and ventilation needs. Type A, with the motor mounted outside the housing, is designed for smoke exhaust in fire-fighting. Named “Centrifugal Fire Smoke Exhaust Fan”, it has passed the high-temperature test under national fire standards and obtained CCCF certification, capable of operating continuously for 30 minutes at 280°C. Type B, with the motor inside the housing, is intended for ventilation and air change.

  • After continuous improvement and development, the TRW (HTFC) Type Forward Curved Cabinet Centrifugal Fan is now available in two types: Type I (single-speed) and Type II (dual-speed). The dual-speed fan uses a dual-speed motor for two-speed regulation, meeting the need for performance adjustment in diverse conditions. It can also be equipped with an inverter motor and controller for variable frequency speed control. The control frequency is suggested to be locked between 25Hz and 60Hz.

  • To meet explosion-proof requirements, the fan can be designed as an explosion-proof model with a rating of EXd II BT4 orEXd II CT4 , making it suitable for places with flammable and explosive gases.

  • The fan can be fitted with primary, secondary, or high-efficiency filters to enhance air cleanliness. When configuring filters, actual pressure loss should be considered, and the housing length should be appropriately increased.


Applications

The fan is widely used for ventilation and smoke exhaust in hotels, restaurants, auditoriums, cinemas, basements, factories, office buildings, etc. It is particularly suitable for places requiring low-noise and high-volume air flow for ventilation and smoke exhaust.


Manufacturing Process

The fan impeller and housing are made of high-quality galvanized steel sheets. All components are produced using molds and assembled through riveting  processes, ensuring a clean and smooth surface without welding deformation. The impeller has undergone static and dynamic balance correction, with a balance accuracy of no less than G5.6.

For pillar-type soundproof housing:

  • The housing uses a frame and panel assembly design. The frame is formed by advanced metal cold-bending equipment in one stretch (aluminum alloy frames are available upon request). The panels are made of high-quality aluminized zinc steel sheets, which are clean, aesthetically pleasing, and highly corrosion-resistant.

  • The housing is filled with sound-absorbing cotton in the sandwich layer to further reduce noise. It can be disassembled and assembled on site.

For pillar-less soundproof housing:

  • The housing is made of high-quality aluminized zinc steel sheets, bent and assembled. The panels are formed using an advanced roll forming machine (RSA) for bending.

  • The overall housing is clean in appearance, highly corrosion-resistant, and can be disassembled and assembled on site.
